Abu Dhabi Maritime launches an award program for the best marinas in the Middle East, North

ABU DHABI : Abu Dhabi Maritime, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, in cooperation with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced the opening of applications to participate in the “Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards” program (in its first edition for marinas). It is a new awards program that aims to select and honor the best distinguished and leading marinas in the MENAT region for their excellence.

This new program provides an open platform for Al Marasy to showcase its achievements across various categories including Best in Safety, Services, Sustainability, Environmental Protection and Reputable Practices.

This initiative, the first of its kind, provides a unique opportunity for all licensed marina owners and operators in the MENAT region to participate and submit their applications. It should be noted that the participation of anchors in the award is not a requirement, but they must be innovative and creative and possess the ability to make a positive change within a specific category of the award categories, in order to be eligible to participate.

Each berth will be evaluated by a committee of professional experts in the maritime sector from prestigious institutions and bodies with wide fame and good reputation, ensuring the integrity of evaluation and arbitration and winning the berth that deserves the award with all merit and credibility.

Today, all marina owners wishing to participate in the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards 2023 can submit their applications until September 30, and the list of the best candidates will be announced prior to the award ceremony scheduled for November 10, 2023 within the activities of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show. This major event is a unique opportunity for the pioneers and professionals of the marine industry to get acquainted with the owners and operators of the winning marinas who have contributed to the development and improvement of the maritime sector and the preservation of the environment, in addition to improving the customer experience.
