Savills UK | London’s £5million-plus home sales slow but still 44% up on pre-pandemic level
A total of 89 £5 million-plus homes changed hands across London in Q1 2024 according to an all-market analysis from Savills, with a total value of £918 million. While that means volumes were -20% below Q1 2023, they remain 44% up on the 62 sales recorded in Q1 2019.

Man dies after being found in canal
Officers were called to reports of a person in the water in Acton Lane at around 7pm on April 14.
The area was cordoned off by emergency services and a man was found unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
No arrests have been made as police enquires continue.…
