Corinthians attacking midfielder Adson (22) is set to join Ligue 1 side FC Nantes imminently, according to a report from Ouest-France.
The 22-year-old Brazilian is expected to put pen to paper over a four-year contract with Pierre Aristouy’s side. The French outlet understands that Nantes and Corinthians have struck a €6m agreement for the transfer of Adson.
Adson is a left-footed versatile playmaker who is also able to play as a right-sided winger. He is poised to land in France in the coming days. The Corinthians man will be the third Brazilian player to join Les Canaris this summer. The Ligue 1 side have already signed PAOK midfielder Douglas Augusto (26) and Arsenal winger Marquinhos (20) on loan.
Nantes are in the market for attacking reinforcements following Ludovic Blas’ transfer to Stade Rennais. Adson has logged five goals and three assists in 43 games played with Corinthians this past campaign.
