European Stock Markets Tread Water At Open


European stock markets opened little changed on Monday, with traders keeping a wary eye on the outlook for the Chinese economy amid property sector weakness, as well as US inflation risks.

London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index fell 0.2 percent to 7,506.41 points, while in the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 was flat at 7,337.78 and the DAX in Frankfurt edged up 0.2 percent to 15,864.50.
