Bus diversion due to Central Motorway closure
Stagecoach is advising passengers that due to the closure of the A167M Northbound from the Tyne Bridge, the X34 service is diverting from Gateshead towards Newcastle via the Swing Bridge.
Stagecoach warns that services may see some significant delays due to the closure so please allow extra time for your journey.

One lane closed on the A19 in Sunderland due to a broken down vehicle
One lane closed on the A19 Northbound from A690 Durham Road, Herrington Interchange, East Herrington, Sunderland, to A183 Chester Road, Pennywell, Sunderland. This is due to a broken down vehicle.

Central Motorway closure to allow for demolition works following fire at Carliol Square
A reminder that the A167(M) Northbound is closed between the A186 Swan House roundabout underpass and A193 New Bridge Street roundabout until Sunday, July 23. This is to allow for demolition works following a fire at Carliol Square on Wednesday, June 28.
