Reports surfaced on Wednesday night that Swift is going to be at the MetLife Stadium to see her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Chiefs.
Now, according to TickPick, a lot more fans want to be there too.
In the 24 hours that have followed the news emerging of Swift’s presence, the ‘get in’ price for tickets on the resale site have jumped up by 43%, from $83 to $119.
TickPick also says that last Sunday’s game – where Swift appeared for the first time to see Kelce play, in a 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears, saw the highest amount of tickets sold for the Chiefs in a single day so far this season.
Sunday’s game in the Big Apple had seen ticket prices drift somewhat in the last couple of weeks.
The game was set to pit Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers against the Super Bowl champions and Patrick Mahomes, but Rodgers tore his Achilles on just the fourth snap of his first game for his new team.
Since then, the Jets have struggled with Zach Wilson as quarterback and lost their last two games.
Kelce, meanwhile, has stayed relatively coy about what is going on with Swift.
On his podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason, of the Philadelphia Eagles, he said: ‘Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy.
‘I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light.
‘On top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course. We script it all ladies and gentlemen. It was just impressive.
‘To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how the Chiefs kingdom was all excited she was there, that s*** was absolutely hysterical, it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure,’ Travis added. ‘And then we just slid off in the getaway car in the end…
‘Shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage.’
