Ever felt like you are at a bit of a loss when it comes to evaluating how well you are doing financially? Not sure what documents you need when your child turns 18? On October 3, at 10am at the Wilton Library, the Wilton Woman’s Club will present Emily Boothroyd, JD, CFP®, CPWA®, of local firm Merit Financial Advisors, who will speak about “Five Things Every Woman Should Know About Her Finances: A Primer on Total Financial Wellness.”

Ms. Boothroyd will be discussing cash flow, taxes, healthcare, wealth protection, and legacy building. In addition, she will answer questions as part of a Q&A session covering general topics of interest. This meeting has been very well received in the past, and all are welcome, not just club members.

Among other topics, Boothroyd will be discussing medical documents that parents of children aged 18 and over should have in place, so that parents can be involved in medical decisions with their children.

Refreshments will be served during this informative and social meeting. To learn more and to RSVP, please visit the Wilton Woman’s Club website at www.wiltonwomansclub.com.

The Wilton Woman’s Club was founded in 1996 by a group of women led by Betty Sternad, who had a vision for serving people and groups in Wilton and the surrounding communities, by giving back through philanthropy, education and strengthening the bonds between women.
