He (Udhayanidhi Stalin) does not understand the real meaning of ‘Sanatana Dharma’, whatever he is saying is absolutely wrong…”

Shivamogga, Karnataka | On the question of whether BJP can do ‘Operation Lotus’ at present, BJP leader KS Eshwarappa says, “Wait and watch, your (Congress) own MLAs don’t have hope on you, Congress has no future in this country. The people connected with the INDIA alliance are not fighting with PM Modi, they are fighting with ‘Sanatana Dharma’. Their objective is to finish ‘Sanatana Dharma’…We never target Stalin ideology or comment on Christianity or Islam, then why are they targeting ‘Hindu Sanatana’…?

On banning polygamy in the state, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma says “A legal committee was formed to check if polygamy can be banned by the state govt or not. Later, we asked the public for their opinion if they had any objections. We received a total of 149 suggestions from the public, out of these, 146 suggestions were in favour of banning polygamy and 3 suggestions were against this. We will now proceed to the next phase of the process, which is to complete the final drafting of the bill in the next 45 days, which will also include the issue of ‘love jihad’. I expect that in December, we will be able to table this bill in the State Assembly…”
