Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, & More Stars at the 49th Annual AFI Life Achievement

In case you missed it, yesterday, on April 27, Nicole Kidman was honored with the AFI Life Achievement Award for her incredible work over the past few decades; and so many of her friends and co-stars came to support her.

Nearly every year, an actor is honored with the AFI Life Achievement Award, which was first created in 1973 and is given to actors for their lifetime contribution to film and television. It was created by directors of the American Film Institute, and the recipient is chosen by film scholars, peers, and more, per their website.

Past recipients have been Julie Andrews, Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda, George Lucas, and Barbra Streisand, to name a few.

But back to this past one, the red carpet for the event was so stunning! From dark looks donned by stars like Reese Witherspoon and Michelle Pfeiffer to Kidman’s showstopping gold look, this red carpet had so many stunning looks.
