Renowned director Sikander Bharti passes away at 60 | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


The Indian film industry mourns the loss of esteemed director Sikander Bharti, who passed away on May 24 at the age of 60.

Known for his significant contributions to Indian cinema, Sikander Bharti’s death marks the end of an era. His final rites were conducted today at 11 am at the Oshiwara crematorium in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.
Sikander Bharti’s career spanned several decades, during which he directed numerous memorable films.

His body of work includes notable titles such as ‘Ghar Ka Chiraag,’ ‘Dand-Nayak,’ ‘Rangeela Raja,’ Zaalim,’ ‘Rupaye Dus Karod,’ ‘Bhai Bhai,’ ‘Sainik,’ ‘Sar Utha Ke Jiyo,’ ‘Police Wala,’ and ‘Do Fantoosh.’ Each of these films showcased his unique vision and storytelling prowess, leaving a lasting impact on audiences and the film buffs.
