Wandsworth jail: Woman charged over video ‘showing prison officer having sex with inmate in
Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the Metropolitan Police says.
A woman has been charged with misconduct in public office over a social media video allegedly showing a member of prison staff having sex with an inmate in a jail cell.
The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation on Friday “after officers were made aware of a video allegedly filmed inside HMP Wandsworth”.
The force said a woman was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office the same day and taken into police custody.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, from Fulham, west London, has now been charged and will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the Met Police said.
