Groupe level monte tests on stage in Paris – Harnesslink
Three groupe level tests were on stage today at Paris-Vincennes, each of these for monte practitioners. In the monte Prix Holly du Locton (Gr. III, purse 60,000€, three-year old fillies) the 1.8/1 odds favorite Little Orelie (3f Feeling Cash-Orelie de Retz) scored in 1.14.0kr for Mathieu Mottier the trainer and jockey.

Luc Vanderhaegin owns and SARL Vanderhaegin bred the winner that secured her second win in five outings for career earnings of 50,370€. Second home was 12/1 Lyzia des Agets (3f Canadian d’Ams) with jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin, ahead of 43/1 Lalyly Bey (3f Bird Parker) with Francois Lagadeuc in the irons.
Next up were the monte three-year old males in the Gr. III Prix Edouard Marcillac (purse 60,000€, 2200 meters) and that victory went to 2.1/1 odds favorite Lucky Sibey (3m Etonnant-Urtica Latoise) timed in 1.15.4kr for his second career win in five appearances for 58,110€ earned. Eris Raffin rode the J.M. Baudouin trainee for owner J.M. Freyssenge. Love And Sun (3m Carat Williams-Niemana Oldeson) was a distance second at 5.6/1 with David Thomain his jockry. Third was 27/1 outsider Lussabeau (3m Vaillant Cash) with Guillaume Martin up, albeit far from the picture.

Last but first was the Gr. II monte Prix Paul Bastard (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, five-year olds) with victory earned by 1.7/1 odds favorite Jean Balthazar (5m Alto de Viette-Dynamite des Vaux) ridden by Benjamin Rochard and timed in 1.12.9kr. This Pascal Castel trainee is owned by Sandrine Loncke and now has nine wins in 36 starts for 548,720€ earned. Jeroboam d’Erable (5m Prodigious) was second four lengths back at 10/1 with David Thomain the jockey for Clement Thomain training for Ecurie du Haras d’Erable. Third was 14/1 Jus des Fruit (5m Love You) with Adrien Lamy up for trainer Franck Leblanc.
